The Service Learning Program at ASU University College offers a variety of credit-bearing internship opportunities in a wide range of disciplines. BIO 484 Biology Service Learning Program Internship
Interns lead small groups of middle-school children in fun, hands-on activities designed to teach the children basic biology concepts
GLG 402 Geology Service Learning Internship
Interns lead small groups of children in engaging, hands-on activities designed to teach basic geology concepts.
GPH 402 Physical Geography Service Learning Internship
Interns lead small groups of children in engaging, hands-on activities designed to teach basic physical geography concepts.
MIC 402 Microbiology Service Learning Internship
Interns lead small groups of 7th/8th graders in engaging, hands-on activities designed to teach the children basic microbiology concepts.
MSE 484 Science is Fun Service Learning Internship
Interns visit different Phoenix-area elementary & middle schools and conduct fun and exciting science "shows."
MTE 402 Math Education Service Learning Internship
Interns design and implement engaging math enrichment activities for small groups of elementary school children.
PLB 402 Service at Salado Service Learning Internship
Interns lead small groups of middle-school children in engaging, hands-on activities focused on the ecology of the Rio Salado as part of the multimillion dollar Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Project.
SOC 294 Sociology Service Learning Program Internship
Interns tutor and mentor 1st-8th grade children in an after-school program.
SPA 294 Spanish Service Learning Program Internship

UNI 484 Youth in Transition interns provide youth exiting the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections needed support and guidance as they transition back into the community.
