Your DARS Report

What do I need to know about a DARS report?

DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) is an automated record, which matches courses a student has completed and is currently enrolled with the requirements of a particular academic degree program. A student in the Exploratory Social and Behavioral Science major track, for example, would be able to get a report showing how completed course work from ASU or transfer institutions would apply toward the critical requirements for this degree program. Further, it allows exploratory majors to match their courses towards the ASU General Studies curriculum, as well as to prospective major options.

How do I print a copy of my DARS report from MyASU?

  • Log onto MyASU with your ASURITE ID and password.
  • Click on My Progress Reports (DARS) located in “My Programs & eAdvisor” box located on top right.
  • View a step-by-step guide to running a DARS report.

Cultural Diversity

ASU is a diverse institution. This multitude of diversity encompasses such areas as ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, sexual identity and orientation and students with disabilities. If you wish to learn more about any of these issues, which often influence your academic experience, there are student services and organizations available to assist you with resources, information and support.

Nontraditional Students

There are special considerations that must be managed by a nontraditional student. Unlike traditional-aged students, the nontraditional student may have to contend with: supporting a family; making sure the kids are being supervised while you are attending class; questioning if you are academically prepared to return to college, working full time, etc. ASU provides Web resources you may find helpful in addressing issues specifically relating to returning adult students.

Student Involvement

Studies have shown campus activities, in reasonable doses, can actually improve a GPA. And there’s no doubt that extracurricular activities can enhance your college experience. For many, getting involved rekindles their dedication to their studies. How do you find others who may share your interest in science fiction, snowboarding, rugby, or whatever? How do you connect to the various local agencies to become active in the community? ASU has hundreds of organizations and clubs that will help you become involved, or just help you explore any number of hobbies or activities that always sounded interesting. Here are places to take the first step in campus involvement.

Wellness

Are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating the right foods? Are you taking care of yourself? Are you seeking medical assistance when you are ill? Making sure you are doing these things is an important consideration in your being academically successful. The following are some resources to assist you in being well:
