A plan for success is more beneficial to you when you formulate your own academic strategies based on your personal and educational goals. Start by defining exactly what you want to achieve academically this semester. For example, your goal is to earn a 2.5 GPA this semester. From there, develop an action plan to achieve your goal. Develop a list of specific behaviors you can do to help you achieve your goal. Thus, to get the 2.5 GPA you want, you need to:

  • Go to every class prepared
  • Stay current with all readings
  • Seek tutoring assistance
  • Talk to your instructor
  • Study for tests

Remember, it is up to you to make your plan work. And there is assistance available to you to help you do so.
